Our internal procedures are designed to align with the principles of ISO 9001 for quality management, as well as best practices in construction safety and project governance.

Implementation

We actively implement structured policies, documented procedures, and regular internal reviews across all departments following global ISO standards. This includes clear responsibilities, project documentation, incident follow-up, and continuous improvement mechanisms.

Our goal is to ensure every project is delivered transparently, safely, and reliably, while earning the long-term trust of our clients, partners, and communities across Libya.

Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE)

Protecting people, projects, and the environment.

Amjad Libya has a dedicated Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE) department responsible for implementing and monitoring all safety procedures on site, in line with local regulations and international standards. Our priority is to ensure a safe working environment for all employees, visitors, and partners.

Risk Prevention

The QHSE team oversees:

Guiding and supervising all personnel entering the site.

Ensuring that all workers wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.

Issuing and controlling work permits for activities across the project site.

Training staff regularly on safety rules, safe behavior, and emergency response.

Maintaining a safe workplace and identifying potential risks before they turn into incidents.

Studying incidents from other sites and learning from industry experience.

Keeping accurate safety records and inspection logs.

Inspecting tools, equipment, and machinery to verify compliance and readiness.

Preparing and updating a comprehensive Health and Safety Plan for each project.

High-Risk Activities

For construction activities at heights and other high-risk tasks, the QHSE department intensifies awareness sessions and toolbox talks to ensure that all workers fully understand the risks and handle their tasks with seriousness and caution.

Emergency Preparedness

All workers are trained to respond properly to emergencies, and a clear emergency evacuation plan is prepared by the QHSE department and posted visibly on all floors and key locations across the site.
